The transmission can be disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and the tapered roller bearings of the main and driven shafts of the reverse gear and forward gear clutches can be checked for looseness. If there is any looseness, adjust the bearing to the proper clearance by adding or reducing the gasket. After adjusting, reassemble the test machine. Although the phenomenon of gear shock and abnormal noise has been reduced, the failure phenomenon still exists.
Therefore, the search for the cause of the failure should be placed in the hydraulic control part of the transmission. Because the piston return of the clutch is achieved by the preload of the spring. Therefore, at the moment when gear is engaged, the main clutch may have excessive pressure control oil flow, so it quickly overcomes the spring preload force, so that the driving plate and the driven plate are engaged too fast and the gear is shocked.
